Celebrating 50 Years!

 

The market is now operating every Sunday from April into December (weather & field conditions permitting – check weekly for our Facebook & Instagram posts).

 

🕒 Weekly Operating Schedule

  • Sundays only

  • Early Buyers: ~5:30 AM

  • General Admission: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Gates to Street Close 1:45 PM

  • Field closes: 3:30 PM

THE TRUNK EXPERIENCE

VENDORS

It all starts before the sun comes up. Vendors from all over the east coast make their way to the pre-dawn lineup. At 4:15am, the gates to the parking lot open and cars are queued up waiting for their turn to get loaded onto the field. Many of the loyal vendors of this community have been attending since the very start of this market in the 1970s.

However, every week there is a unique mix of old and new vendors bringing merchandise that captivates all the senses. By 6:50am, the field gates are closed and vendors are busy unloading their trucks and displaying their wares for the droves of buyers that come crashing through the gates at 7:00am seeking deals of every sort.

BUYERS

There are two categories of Buyers that comprise the Marketplace at the Trunk:

5:30 am – 6:45 am: $20 – Exact change will have first priority to the field.  No new entries between 6:45 am and 7:00 am.

7:00 am: $ 4 – General Admission. Available for purchase on-site.  We accept cash or credit.

Admission Gates Close at 2:00 pm – No Entry After 2:00 pm (street access to the property will close at 1:45 pm) Everyone must be off the Field by 3:30 pm, No Exceptions.

4:15am – Gates to Parking lot open (Entrance is from Candlewood Lake Road South)

4:30am – Gates to Field open

4:30am – Express Lane Ticket holders welcome to enter between 4:30 and 5:30 am.  Reserve Vendors welcome to enter between 4:30am and before 6:30am.

4:30am – All Vendors in Line begin entry to the field based on line-up order

4:30-5:30am Advanced ticket holders may gain immediate entrance through the Express Lane (Must arrive by 5:30 to guarantee your space)

6:30am – Reserve Vendors forfeit rights to their reserved space. Should they arrive between 6:30-6:50 they will be placed in an open space provided one is available.

6:50am – Vendor Gates Close. All Vendors must be on the Field, in their designated spaces. Buyers are waiting for you and the aisles must be free and clear.  We highly suggest you aim to arrive no later than 6:30 a.m. to avoid any incidentals.

7:00am – 2:00pm  ALL VENDORS MUST STAY IN THEIR SPACE, EARLY DEPARTURE STRICTLY PROHIBITED

2:00pm – Vendors are permitted to leave the field, provided their space is completely clean of all trash and merchandise.

3:30pm – Vendors must be off the field, and ensure their space is completely clean of all trash and merchandise.  ****NO EXCEPTIONS****

BUYERS

5:30 am – 6:45 am Purchase On-site – $20 per person.  Tickets available for purchase on-site.  Exact change will have first priority to the field.

General Admission – $4 Buyers are still welcomed from 7:00 am – 2:00 pm.  Admission tickets available for purchase on-site by credit card or cash.  Children under the age of 12 are always FREE.

1:45 pm – Street access to the property will close at 1:45 pm.

2:00 pm – Admission Gates Close at 2:00 pm – No Entry After 2:00 pm –   Everyone must be off the Field by 3:30 pm, No Exceptions.

3:30pm – Field and Parking lot Closed
