How much is it to become a Regular Vendor?

  • The 2024 price is $60.00 per space.

 

How many people can I bring in my car?

  • 2 adults admissions come with each paid space.
  • Additional adults will need to pay the buyer’s admission fee based on the time of their arrival.

 

What you need to bring with you:

  • Vendor admission is $60 per space payable by cash (exact change appreciated) or by major credit/debit card
  • Tables to display your products if that is suitable.
  • Shade structures are welcome; however they must be secured in windy conditions.
  • Every Vendor must supply their own hand sanitizer
  • Credit Card payments preferred
  • Masks are recommended for those that are not fully vaccinated or at high risk.
  • If you don’t feel well, please stay home!

 

What should you leave at home?

 

  • Leave All Pets at home. There are absolutely NO PETS ALLOWED on the Elephant’s Trunk property. Not in the parking lot, not left in your car, not on the field.
  • If the dog’s mere presence provides comfort, it is not a service animal under the ADA.
  • Service Animals:  The ADA/U.S. Department of Justice requires the Handler to be responsible for caring for a Service Animal.  The ADA requires that service animals be under the control of the handler at all times.  The Service Animal must be well behaved or will be subject to removal of the property.

 

How big is a space?

 

  • Vendor spaces are approximately 20 feet by 20 feet.
  • You can rent as many adjoining spaces as you like.
  • Any trailers brought onto the field, regardless of size will be billed for an additional space. (2 space minimum)
  • Box trucks that have ramps are billed as an additional space. (2 space minimum)

What do I do with my vehicle?

 

  • Vendors are expected to drive their vehicle into their space as directed by the ET Staff. Their vehicle stays with them all day in their space.
  • Only paid Vendor ticket holders can enter through the Vendor gate in the morning.  They are not allowed to drive onto the field, drop their merchandise and leave until 2:00 p.m.

 

Which items are vendors prohibited to sell?

 

  • Pornographic material of any type
  • Guns, knives, swords of any type (real or fake)
  • Counterfeit merchandise
  • Animal leg-hold traps
  • All Food and Beverage sales are strictly reserved for Food Vendors.
  • No use or selling of marijuana or related paraphernalia.
  • Cosmetics, toilet preparations and similar preparations, except soaps, designed and intended for application to a person must be registered and inspected by the State of CT.
  • Management reserves the explicit right to have any item which management deems to be inappropriate for any reason, removed. If the vendor disagrees with management’s discretion, they will be asked to leave the premises and refunded their vendor admission.

 

What time can I leave?

 

  • Vendors must stay in their space until 2:00pm. Under no circumstances are they permitted to leave early and abandon their space.
  • Vendors can leave at any time between 2:00pm and 3:30pm.
  • ALL VENDORS MUST BE OFF THE FIELD BY 3:30pm (NO EXCEPTIONS), and their space must be free and clear of all trash and merchandise. Please leave your space as you found it.

 

What happens if I arrive late?

 

  • Unfortunately, vendors that are not through the gates by 6:50am will not be allowed onto the field, regardless of prepayment.
  • Vendors must be on the field and in their designated space by 6:50 a.m.  Buyers are waiting for you and the aisles must be free and clear.  We highly suggest you aim to arrive no later than 6:30 a.m. to avoid any incidentals.
